The Who’s frontman is honoured with prestigious award

A charity event at Grosvenor House Hotel in London’s Mayfair on November 7th saw more than 1,000 attendees give a standing ovation to British rock icon Roger Daltrey CBE as he was presented with the prestigious Music Industry Trusts Award (MITS) on the occasion of the ceremony’s 25th anniversary.

The award was presented to The Who’s co-founder and lead singer by Jeremy Clarkson in recognition of his contribution to music and entertainment industry and charitable causes, not least his enthusiastic patronage of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Since 1992, the MITS Awards have honoured some of the greatest musicians, performers and music industry luminaries, and has simultaneously raised over £5.5million to help sustain Nordoff Robbins and The BRIT Trust.

As long-time technical production partner of the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts, and supplier to The Who many times over the years, Entec wishes to congratulate Roger on this very well deserved award.
